Thank the Lord for Weekends!!

I have achieved a new appreciation for weekends!! After this week, which has been the pits school-wise, I'm SO glad for a break!! Other than *cringe* schoolwork, not too much has been going on. We had normal Thursday morning classes, Journalism and Drama, and then babysat all afternoon after that. This weekend is the Georgia-Alabama game, I'm SOOO excited, and I really hope we'll be able to watch it (Dad's on call this weekend so if he has someone in labor, I'm outta luck). Then Sunday I've got nursery during the service and youth stuff at night (yay!!). This month I'm helping with the 3-year-olds, should be pretty fun. Well, I'm gonna scoot... maybe my next post won't be quite to dull!

Camping Crazies

We had a fun time camping, though I was pretty cold most of the time (Zimbabwe, what did you do to me!?). I read a lot (and they say you don't go camping to read all day, bah!), played putt-putt (got a new personal best on that course, yay for me!), and played cards and board games. We had planned to stay for two nights, but because we couldn't pick up abc in the camper (and it would be a SIN to miss a UGA game, seriously, it's got to be in the Bible somewhere), we had to leave a night early. Good times.

Paper Time!

A lot of ya'll probably know that last year my sisters and I were part of our homeschool paperThe Pacesetter. Well, we're back for more this year; Once again, I'm the editor. Last Thursday, we came out with our first edition (yay!), and I just thought I'd use my blog to advertise our paper for a second. It'll come out twice a month, as opposed to once a month last year. A subscription is for ten papers (one came out Thursday, so nine to go, but you'd probably get the one that came out already too). You can get a subscription for a black and white hard copy for $8 or an emailed copy in full color for $5. If any of ya'll are interested, leave me a comment or email me and I'll get back to you! OK, enough of the salespitch! If we got any good ones, I'll post a camping pic or two later on!

A Camping We Will Go

Hey Ya'll!! Just wanted to let ya'll know that we're going to be camping at the State Park from tomorrow evening to Sunday afternoon. Should be fun... eating junk food, watching the UGA vs AZ State game in the camper, (hopefully, if I can find one!) reading a good book, playing games (including putt-putt :D)... gotta love that. Hopefully we'll get some fun pictures and I'll update when we get back!!

It's Here!!!

It's finally here!!!! I've been waiting for five long months (since April) and this blessed date has at long last arived!! Sinner is out!!!! I would be diving into those crisp new pages at this moment, but, alas, I have not finished my school work. Mom still needs to help me with some of my subjects. She's waiting on me now, so I must be off... but, be forwarned, you won't hear from me until I've finished this book...

Till then,

Me :)
